Creating dropdown menus via images

I've got a little AoL addon I'm working on, and I have my border style = 0 because I don't want there to be any title bar. Anyway, I'm wanting to be able to have a user click on an image or bmp and a menu drops down. How would I do this? Keep in mind I would also like there to be submenus in this menu.
