Hi!
The company I work for has decided to make the switch from Quark to InDesign. We have already moved most of our publications (magazines, charts, maps, etc), next is our approx. 1,500 page yellow-pages phone-book style directory.
Currently we import Xtag text (in a .doc file) from our database into Quark which works quite seamlessly. Would it be best to purchase the Xtag plug-in for InDesign and continue this workflow, or would using the XML format work better?
I'm unfamiliar with XML and I'm hoping someone out there has gone through this and has some advice for me.
Thanx!
