In trying to speed the configuration process on machines that have been handed to me I am trying to delete a pagefile on the "C" drive and create it on the "D" drive. I need to use the system recommended value for the pagefile size so I also need to read or create that value. If anyone has some help I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Windows XP Pro comes with a script named pagefileconfig.vbs

This is a long script (164KB) that uses WMI to accomplish its tasks. I don't know anything about its portability to other OSs, and it doesn't contain comments that suggest anything one way or the other (re. portability).

It sounds like it would do what you want to accomplish though.

I've tried that one already that script only functions in an XP environment. There is some functionality in the XP OS that win2K does not have.
