Creating DBF Files from Comma Delimited files

This is a slightly unusual request. I work with Oracle developers who just don't want to understand the concept of a dbf file.

Is there any utility that can be used to convert a comma delimited file to a dbf file that can be used in a Solaris Environment from perl?

You can create a DBF from comma delimited files in FoxPro. If this info helps your request, you can try in FoxPro.
I am not sure of solaris/pearl in which I am not proficient. ramani :-9

You could also use Excel to import the data, and then have it save it as a DBF.
