In my program, there are some edit boxes users are able to use to fill out and it will query a access database for the results. However, I would like to have a "results" window where it looks like:
Columns - column headers "read-only" (greyed out appeance)
Rows - shows query results that are "read-only" (but has the white back ground like a read/write edit box - but only be read-only)
The column headers and result rows will all be inside what looks like a large edit box with modal frame. I don't see how it is possible to put an edit box inside another so I am hoping someone can tell me what I would have to do to achieve that. Also, how do I address having read-only edit boxes showing the results, but display in the white background rather than the grey'ed out.
I don't have any pictures to show, only thing that I can think of is like a program such as "bear Share" or some other program where you run a query and the results are returned in (i.e. the example programs referenced) result window but are read only and still retain that "non- greyed out" look.
Any suggestions?
