Creating custom forms in Outlook

I have created custom forms in Outlook as a quick solution for clients sending set data to us. These have been tested in-house and are fully operational, passing all relevant data to the recipient, however these do not work outside of our network, the resultant e-mail is blank. Does anyone have an idea /solution?

Anybody has forms formicrosoft outlook?

Forms only work in Outlook 97/2000 clients, mails recieved by any other clients (eg Notes or web based)will only see data in the main message area or recipients. Anything else you add to the form wont be visible.

THE REASON I ASK IS THAT I HAVE A PROBLEM LIEK YOURS.
I AM TRYIN TO SEND A FORM AND IT COMES OUT BLANKS WEN I SEN DIT ONLY SENDING OUT THE TEXT IN THE MAIN SCREEN THE FORM ITSELF DOES NO TSEND DO U NO HOW I CAN FIX THIS?

Not really any progress I'm afraid, only that using customised forms is fine within your network but going out outside of that is tricky considering the different platforms and versions that clients are running. I have had to go back to using word templates, removing all of the toolbars except the e-mailing ones and using that until I find a more efficient global solution.

I have this same problem, only I have not even tested outside of my network. I can't even get the customization to appear within the network. I have no clue as to why this is not working. Just an internal fix at this point would be wonderful.

I've been testing out a similar thing I think. What you need is the correct parameters for the cgi-bin you are using. My guess is that an in-house form is using a file within your network to submit the post. I would expect that you would need something like

all your fields...... </form>
However, I might be way off course.???

my problem is actually for forms within my own network, when i customise my form the recipent can only see teh compose version which of course is blank when they forward it they then see the read version only if they forward it, how can i set it up that wat i enter in my end is wat they see wen they open their form?

Did you have any look with this problem? I am trying to do the same and the recipient cannot see the data I enter.
