Creating crystal reports

Very easy to create a simple little report from just one or two datasets, and you can use Report Expert for this.
Doing more complex linkings and processing runs up against the limits, with various ingenious workrounds, as documented here.

Depends on your background and how complex your reports are.
With training I find many people learn the fundamentals in a few days. Those with a background in databases and/or programming seem to learn quicker.
Without training, you should expect to add about a week to your learning curve. You should also make sure you have good materials to learn from.
Complex reports test your understanding of Crystal and often require workarounds. It can take many months (if not years) of working with Crystal to understand it fully. Through this forum, even the experts pick up a few tricks from time to time.
