Hello!
I need to create barcharts to be displayed in IE. There seems to be a lot of different ways.
Now I´m using objGraphics to draw rectangle and lines, but it´s becoming pretty complex and I don´t like the pretty amateur-like design.

What I´ve seen it looks like a can use ActiveX, MSChart or Office Web Components. I´ve looked everywhere on the net but nobody really seem to have explain have to achieve this with aspx(vbscript).
Any suggestions??

See ya!

chartDirector is not very expensive (right at 100 bucks) and makes very nice charts for .NET. Easy to use, as well.

You can download and try ChartDirector at no charge for as long as you want. The only catch is that it puts a tag on your charts until you pay for it.

It's pretty easy to pick up using the PDF manual and has a "Lot" of chart options.

After spending a lot of time with System.Drawing to do some charts, this tool was a lot easier and cleaner.

I have some charts up using ChartDirector, a program doing well from a group in Hong Kong -- also, they are very freindly about answering questions and the last time I heard from them they said they were going to put up a discussion board. The bulk of ChartDirector requires calling up arrays from the database which is pretty straight forward. ChartDirector also has a pdf manual with some examples. If you'd like copies of the aspx pages (no code behind, all vb/html on same page) I'd glady email them to you. The charts (and we're going to be putting up many more) can be found at:

If you'd like any of the codes for the charts drop me an email at biochem3d@yahoo.com

Also, one more note. If you are using the Charts for a "non-profit" cause there is no charge. Indeed, if you don't mind their small label at the bottom on the charts (an adverstisement to their company) and don't distribute the charts, there is no charge.

Only if you plan to distribute a product and or want the commerical ban off the bottom of the charts do they charge you $100 as link9 mentioned.
