Creating Boot Floppies

I read where you can create the two boot floppies to build a BSD box. I tried but can't get it to work. Isn't one of the files larger than what can fit on a diskette? Try not to laugh; thanks in advance

you need only
kern.flp and mfsroot.flp to boot for FreeBSD install
