I have got numerous *.PDF files which I need to start and link to each other at specific points within the files.

How can I create bookmarks within each file and then insert the links without having to re-create the original *.pdf docs?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers in advance.

You need acrobat exchange to create bookmarks in a PDF. Do you have exchange?

No I dont have Exchange. Can I get this easily?

Thanks Pete

It came in a package of tools from Adobe that included Distiller, Exchange, PDF Writer, Catalog etc. I purchased it several years ago and still use Acrobat3... I'm just to cheap to upgrade when version 3 meets my needs so well. As I recall the whole suite cost $400 but that was 3 or 4 years ago at least.

Now there are lots of clones. 3rd party companies that write tools for acrobat format. Most are somewhat specialized niche products.

I would start at Adobe's web site.
