Hi all,

I am creating a report using Crystal 2008 that I will export to .prn. I am creating a formula where I am combining multiple fields into this one giant formula field. For example: I have {customerID}+{customer_name}. The thing is I need to add 5 blank spaces at the end of the customer name field. Thus, I tried:

{customerID}+{customer_name}+' '

I then exported my report to Excel and did a save as .prn. When I opened my .prn, it didn't take my last 5 blank spaces. If the blank spaces were in the middle of 2 legitimate fields, it worked just fine but not when it is at the end. What can I do?

Please help.

From Crystal Help:

Use the Space function to easily add a specific number of spaces to a text string.

{customerID}+{customer_name}+ Space(5)

David
