Hi there,

My first question: Is it possible to link my access form to an excel form (keeping in mind that access has combo boxes, check box, etc whereas excel does not have it). If so how please?

If not possible, is it possible to create a report based on a multi-tabbed access form (it is about 3 pages).

I need the report to print something that looks very similar to standard 3 page excel report

You can link to an Excel spreadsheet (file, get external data, link tables) with varying degrees of success.

You could add a tab control and put a subform on each tab to enter data. Each form should have a table behind it.

I think on a more basic level you should understand that Access is not bound to a layout for both entry and printing like Excel (granted Excel has some tricks to rearrange data). In Access you store data in tables and can use tables, queries, forms or even VBA code to enter the data. Then you can use tables, queries, forms, Reports (preferably) or even VBA to accomplish your reporting needs. However, it sounds like you need an introduction to Access so I would suggest you either take a class on it or find a book covering the basic elements.

I'm not sure what you are asking. You can display records queried from Access in Excel.

Placing a tab control on a report makes no sense since only one tab would be visible at a time in your report. You could set up the controls on your report to look like the first tab page then the second then the third.
