Hi!
Just being curious: we`re using CR8.5/CE8.5. Is there any possibility to create multi-language-report?
The only solution we know about would be creating a language-parameter, replacing all textfields by formula fields and displaying text dependant from the parameter's value. But this way, it would be neccessary to schedule the report separately for each language which could (due to the time it may take to process the query) result in different values because of database updates that may have occured in the meantime.
To be more precise, we'd like to have to schedule/run the report only once and enable the user to specify the language in which the textfields (not database fields) are to be displayed directly in the viewer.
Is there any (set of) 3rd-party-tool(s) that could do the trick? I could imagine an additional textfile that contains the language-specific information and a connection to the report's textfields (formula fields), but I guess to deal with this, we need some kind of custom-viewer.
Regards
