I have created a billing system and have created reports that generate invoices. Does anyone know how (if it is possible) to create PDF documents out of the reports I have made and then email them out according to an associated email address for each invoice?

Currently I am just printed out the invoices to Distiller and then extracting each invoice from the full document. Obviously, I'd like to make this simpler so that it is automatically done. It would also be great if those PDF files could be created as separate files then be sent out via email.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

Shawn, depending on what program you're using for mailing (ie Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc) the mailing should be pretty easy. As far as the PDF part goes, check out this thread:

It's not perfect (at least on my network) because I can't get it to automatically save it still comes up with the "SaveAs" box. If I get it to work (or if anyone else has gotten this to work...?) I will post it.
