hello
I am trying to create a simple grphic for a webpage

the graphic is basiclly a triangle. My problem is that the image looks good in photoshop up when I move it over to the webpage the sides of the triangle are not smooth, can anyone explain a simple processfor creating this triangfle so that the sharpness ofthe edges is not lost when I put it on a webpage

thanks for any replys

Johnnyv,

What format are you saving the image in? a jpg file will be the smallest but will have some loss in quality, this will usually be more visible in a simple graphic such as your triangle, you can control the quality by adjusting the compression ratio. A gif file will not be as small as a jpg but will not have any loss in quality and can be a preferred format for simple graphics such as logo's. If you can post more details such as size and file format I'm sure we can give more assistance.
