Creating an RSA Private Key Signature

Hi All, I need to create an RSA encrypted byte array from a SHA1 digest of a canonicalised XML document. The RSA encryption using the private key from a digital certificate.

I've googled, read, read and read some more and I'm still scratching my head over this one. Can anyone please help me out on this, I've been at it for ages and still no further forward.

Just to say that I got to the bottom of my problem with this. When canonicalising my XML I was saving it as a UTF-8 stream not an ASCII stream and as a result my digest was wrong!
