I am looking to create a layout in ACT! 9.0 and would like to be able to record when I last updated EACH TAB INDIVIDUALLY (and not just in the history). I am trying to create a field for each tab that has the properties of the "edit date" field, but only keeps track of the tab it is in. Ideally, I would like a field that would show me when I updated each LINE of fields within a given tab. (Example: being able to keep track of when I updated information of each individual bank account of a client in the "Bank Accounts" tab I have created. I.E. several update fields per tab).

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

There is no default way to have a field that stores the last time a field on a specific tab was updated... not just because you could have multiple layouts for the same database with the same field on different tabs on different layouts.

It is possible to create an add-on that would update "last edit date" fields based on a set of other fields, but I'm not aware of one that currently does this.
