I have a combo box in which I allow the user to add data if not on list. However, I need to assure the format is as follows X:YX where X is a number and Y can be a Space or number.

I have all the code done to check for the colon and that I got four characters. Only thing I need is the simplest way to check the three characters for the proper character. NO letters allowed.

Thanks in advance... Life's a journey enjoy the ride...

Would the input mask 0:90 entered in the controls property box do it for you? See InputMask property under Access Help.
