My team is working on creating a ticket-based system in sharepoint. We have most of the fields set up ok, but we're unsure on how to actually create the "ticket number". We would need the number to automatically increment by 1 with each new ticket entered. Does anybody know how to do this? Thanks!

If this is a custom list just add the ID column to you view. Sharepoint automaticaly creates an incremental ID number for every list item you create.

When frustrated remember, in the computer world there is almost always a backdoor.
