Hello,

I have this mostly down but was wondering if there was a primer or information on how what steps to take to create an
access form that is like an application main form. That is acts as though it is not an access form but rather an application. I have trouble with the form still being able to be resized, the default "X" button is still there or the "Type a question for help" in MS Access 2003 etc. etc. etc. I want a main form that is 100% like opening an application. I can do most of it but was wondering if there were a step by step anywhere?

Thanks everyone.

I don't know of any place that will show you step by step! When you indicate the default X are you referring to the form or the database. Both can be eliminated in addition to everything else on the tool bar. I would think your best bet is to be more specific in a question. For example: "How can I.......? Try only asking one question at a time.

To get rid of Close/Resize got the form's properties the click on Format. Make

Control Box No
Min Max Buttons None
Close Button No

I get the effect you want by simply sizing the main form so that it fills the screen. Just be sure before removing the close button that you provide some means to do this.

Hope this helps.
