Welcome to the Twilight Zone- I took the CCNA exam yesterday and had a simulation question dealing with an access list- I think to block telnet. But whenever I typed in the command to create it, it told me I was using an invalid command with a marker pointing to the word "access". Did I miss something? Isn't the command to create a basic access list (for example, to permit ip) something like: router(config)#access-list 110 permit ip any any ? I was getting really frustrated- I finally just had to move on to the next question because the simulation wasn't accepting my commands. And I wound up missing certification by one question! (Grrrr!)Am I doing something wrong? Or is it possible that there was an issue with the question itself?
Confused, bewildered, and frustrated,
