Hi, I have quite a complex problem i am trying to solve.

I need to create some form of calender that looks at a year and allows me to calculate amount of days between two dates. i need to be able to take in to account weekends & public holidays. i.e. 25, 26th december will be classed as public holiday and also the bank holidays. The reason behind needing to do this is that I have a sickness record & i need access to work out the amount f working days lost for each worker over their sick period. most will be easy, but longterm sick might cover several weeks or months. any ideas on how i can do this? any help appreciated. thankyou

"Calendars" are oft reeferenced in these fora(Tek-Tips) and particularly in Ms. A. group; use Advanced Search-Keyword: Calender & Form. For insight into Workdays. see faq181-261. Combining the two should get you started
