Hello,
I've just recently begun using CorelDraw 11, and am still familiarizing myself with it. I am wondering how I can create a wireframe from an imported .jpg and would appreciate an assistance you can provide.
that depends on what you mean by "wireframe". There is a wireframe mode so you can see the shape of all the vectors, but bitmaps always have the same shape - a square or rectangle; i.e., there's nothing to show in wireframe mode. Perhaps describing what you really mean to do would help.
I originally made a design in Paint Shop Pro and I need it to show up in wireframe mode around the letters and such and not as the square. I'm wondering whether I can avoid having to remake it in Corel, i.e. if there is a feature where I can select just a certain color, etc. Hmm does that make any sense?
there's a similar post on page 4 or 5 about making a company logo into an embroidery, but I'm not making mine into a embroidery but into a heat seal, so I need to know how to make the jpg into a vector
Ah, you didn't say you wanted to recreate the bitmap into a vector. You said "wireframe" which is technically something different.
You can use the Trace program, but honestly, you'll get the best results by manually redoing it in Draw. That's why you should not use a bitmap editor to create logos, etc. Always create from scratch in the vector app and export out to bitmap format(s) as needed.
You'll want to import the bitmap and then use the bezier tool to create the various elements of the bitmap.
