Creating a Tracking system for sales

I am trying to figure out how to track sales efforts in GoldMine. For instance, how many phone calls have resulted in literature being sent out or resulted in a project. It seems I can only run a report on the present moment! I want to track how status has changed overtime. Any ideas?

Let me see if I'm understanding this correctly . . .

Have you tried reporting from the History (ConHist?)

Do you utilize the codes?

I would think that from the History file you can do a date range of the code that signifies the literature, etc . . .
