I work for a housing association and I have report that takes a snapshot of all our properties and their status e.g. tenanted, empty with construction etc. The problem is I want to look at our performance over time and the table in our iSeries does not store this data time-wise, just what status the properties are at currently. Each time I run the report the new data will obviously automatically over write the old data in impromptu.
I’m wondering if anyone can think of a way where if I run the report one week impromptu can store that data with the date. Then the next time the report is run, combine the old set of data and new set of data so I could see week on week change in Cognos Upfront. E.g. week 1 95% tenanted, week 2 95.5% tenanted
I hope I’m making sense, I’m pretty new to Cognos products, and any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mick
