Hi
I'm new to access, so bear with me

I need to move an Excel file on a monthly basis into an Access table
and than create a text file. I created a Macro to TransferSpreadsheet and TransferText commands based on a table.
How is the best way to automate this procedure for user friendly monthly run?

Thanks

How much automation do you want? This can be all automated by scheduling Access to run with command line parameters to run the macro.

Otherwise the user can schedule a recurring task in Outlook and open the Access file and run the macro.

I probably want to create a user friendly form with command buttons to clear the old data table and reload the new montly data and than have a command button to run the macro!

Thanks
