Ok, so I"m new to Dreamweaver and I'm working with Dreamweaver MX. I wanted to make a very simple subscribe list which asks for the persons name, state and e-mail address. My question is how do I go about sending what the subscriber has entered? Like how does the information that the user has submitted somewhow get to me so I can view this information? I have a host that uses a cgi-bin if that means anything :\ Ok, thanks for your help. Also I'm one of those people who needs to see it to understand, so if you know of a resourceful link (tutorial) out on the web that would also be great. THX

Check with your hosting service. They may offer you something called FormMail, a simple cgi programme that has become pretty standard for folk not using ASP, php or whatever. It's simple to use, effective and will deliver form responses into your email client.

There have been security issues with older versions of the script, but they do appear to have ben plugged. Hosts who offer FormMail as a way for their clients to get info from visitors will point out the security issue and oblige you to follow some (properly) rigid instructions on configuring it.

If your host does not offer this service, go to download the script and then check with your host's tech support to see if they'll let you use it.

Good luck!
