Creating a sub-capture

I took a capture and I need to email it to someone.
Unfortunately their email server won't take the size
of the capture, even compressed.
How can I create a sub-capture?
Is there a way to filter a capture already taken and
then save just the result?
OR
If there was a way to truncate it in time would work
for me as well.

Sure you've got a few options:
- save your trace with a ".caz" extension. That will create a Sniffer compressed file. When you open the .caz file Sniffer will automatically uncompress the trace file.
- create a display filter/save your new trace
- Use the Edit Select Range/Save Selected
