Creating a small network with a domain controller 1

Hi,

I would like to create a small network, lets say: one domain controller with 3 PC acessing it, using win2000 for both.

Is there any help file I could read about how to do that? It doesn´t need to be something very detailed.

You could check out

There really is no simple help file. Once you get your win2k server setup, just walk through the Active Directory Setup. That is if you are pretty familiar with Domains and networking in general.

This site offers a sort of walkthrough for Win2k server installs including some of the post admin tasks you need to do once it is installed.

The initial install of Win2k isnt too hard, the only thing to take note of is the dns install which allows you to install active directory.

After your install to kick this off you need to run the PDC upgrade from start>Run dcpromo to kick off the upgrade.
