Creating a Slide Library..

Hi peeps,

Does anyone know how to create a slide library? I'm trying to create a tiled menu for inserting blocks at work and apparently you need a slide library..

I've tried doing what the Acad help says but it doesn't make much sense to me. I've already created the slides and saved them to a folder.

The only thing I need to is set up a slide library and the slidelist. Also, I need to know exactly how to code the MNS file. I can copy the same format as the 3D objects tiled menu but this won't teach me how to code it.

I haven't used AutoCAD's, but I've used freeware slide library programs. I understand they are much easier to use than AutoCAD's. You can get makslb21 at

Also you can get a good tutorial on creating image menus at

Just a quick note. Do you have Design Center within AutoCAD? It can browse your folders and show previews without creating actual slide files before you insert them.

This a fantastic little freeware program that creates Autocad drop down menus.

Can't recommend highly enough.
