Hello,
I have posted this earlier on but need some more help.
I have completed a project in VB Access. Now i need to create a setup program for distributing the same.I was told that the clients machine need not have Access installed on it.Can someone please tell me how i can achieve this. One more thing is that i want to customise the installation in such a way that the database is copied from the installation CD to the clients machine by the setup program.
I also want the setup to automatically install DCOM98 on the clients machine.
Is this possible.
Please let me know.
Cheers

hi buddy,

see , if u have created a project in vb & access then the client mach should have ms-access.if u want to copy yhe database automatically u can modify the setup.exe which is present in the vb98 folder in pdwizard folder.
u have to open setup1.vbp project and insert your code over there.u can find lot of info on the web regarding manipulation of setup project.

bye.
