When we first implemented Sharepoint, it was suppose to be an "Out-of-the-box" use what is readily available solution for interdepartmental communication, document storage, and task assignment.
With all that up and going, I have now been tasked with getting some kind of document routing system in place. I have set up the IIS, enabled the SMTP, Configured the SMTP, configured in-coming email (advanced), and am to the point where I need to use Active Directory for permissions.
The Microsoft instructions say to create a new OU - however, we use AD for all permissions already so I want to use an existing OU. The error I am getting is that I need permissions for the Central Admin Application Pool to access AD - Anyone know how to do this???
