Hi ...

I'm try to set up my report so that it's date specific, meaning that, what I would like to happen is when the user presses either the 'Preview' or 'Print' button on my form a message box will then appear asking the user to input a start and end date. The report will then either be previewed or printed within the designated timeframe.

Can anybody help me with this?

Thanks,
James.

Hi, Actually it's easier to place two unbound text boxes on an input form, txtDateStart & txtDateEnd, for example. Have the user input the desired dates. In the criteria section of the date field in your report query, put in:

Between [Forms]![YourForm]![txtDateStart] And [Forms]![YourForm]![txtDateEnd]

Preview the report and the information will be constrained by the start and end dates.

Hope that helps.

Isn't this the same thing you just posted????
