I am trying to create an invoice that sometimes has detail on two pages. I need the detail to start on page 1 then continue on page 2 and have a note saying continued on page 2 if needed.
Header Info
Detail Info
Foot Info

I always need the header on all pages
I always need the Foot info on only the last page
and when the detail info is more than can fit on page one, I need it to split with the notice at the end of page one that it is continued on the next page.

???

Well I am not sure about the note at the end of page one. We have put a note on page two+ (i.e., Continued). The header would go on the page header. The foot info would go in the Report Footer. You might be able to put the Page N of M and use a string function (i.e, Right(PageNofM,1) <> '1') and have section or text box display based on the formula (since displaying the note would add to the page length, not sure if this would always work correctly).

Try this:
Put a formula in your page footer that is something like:
IF {field you're grouping on} = NEXT({field you're grouping on})
then "Continued"
else " "

DO NOT put two separate page footers and try to use suppression on the one you don't want. The report will always allocate space on the page for both footers.
