Creating a Report in a Table Format

I am trying to create a Report for a database that tracks corporate expinditures. The report needs to be in a spreadsheet like format, but there are specific cells that must be formatted a certain way. Is there anyway to have the database calculated in excel, but it opens up an already saved document. Or any other suggestions.

Did you try using a sub report in the main report? This should do what you are looking for.
