If you are trying to find an exact match to a Start Date and End Date. Create a form for the user to enter the dates into. In the script you would go to the form (layout) Enter Find Mode and check the Pause box. This will wait for the user to press Enter on the keyboard before performing the find.

If you are looking for a date range - you still create the form. In the script - go to the layout - enter find mode - and have the user enter the date range in the format:

01/01/02...01/31/02

Make sure the three dots (...) appear between the two dates.

Note: on the form make sure you use the actual fields you want to perform the find on.

If you more help - let me know.
