Hi There
I am really new at crystal reports,i know my way around ms access, but know need to learn Crystal
I have created 2 .qry files that are from 2 access databases. How do you join the two crystal queries. Each crystal query i created has a field that can be joined to
Can anyone help me
Thanks in advance

I have not used this in years but I would assume you add both queries to the new query and then you will be prompted on linking them.

Crystal query designer is a very old and unsupported piece of software. Why are you doing this with 2 queries as opposed to just writing one report?

How would i get the data in one report?.The data although having a common id in the field i need to join,is not indexed. Can you explain how you would go about this
I am using ver 8.5 because the s/ware that uses cr as its report engine, doesnt support any higher version
Thanks for the response

It doesn't matter if the field is indexed or not you can still join on it. Performance would be better if it were indexed, but it will still work fine, as will ALL versions of Crystal.

What application are you using?
