Is it possible while using the inputbox for the use of a password so that when the user types the password all you see is Asterisks in place of the charaters. For example, on a command button or on form load or what ever.

I was able to create a password function but you can see what the user is typing.

thank you for any help

Rodm:

Select the password control, open the property sheet, select the Data tab and set the Input Mask to Password.

Thank you for your response, however I did do that when I designed my own form, but I was wondering how would you do that use the commnad [inputbox] method. Can it be done?

Thank you

Rodm:

Nope, don't think it can be done using InputBox.

However, it should't be too difficult to create a similar type of form.

How you would set it up would depend on how you want to use the user supplied password.
