Hi,
I need a boot cd for os x. Someone has a little tutorial?
There is a software called bootcd I found in the internet, but it doesn't work. This bootcd starts booting, but there is no chance to login, only the normal blue background.

Are you certain that there is no chance to log in? Booting from a CD is VERY slow. It took about 20 minutes on one Mac that I tried with bootcd.

What happened to your Apple OSX install CD?

Can you not use Norton SystemWorks?

Why do you need a boot CD? Booting from a CD gives very little control over your system.

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

Hi jimoblak,
I tried booting again and after 45 minutes the same thing, no login-window.

I have Apple OSX install CD 1 ,2 and Developer Tools, but
Apple OSX install CD 1 does not boot, but wants to start a second installation.
I heard bad things about Norton SystemWorks and speeddisk (HD dammage, corrupt filesystem).
I need to defrag my system disk, because I have OS9 and OSX on the same partition.
