I create my text frame and paste my text(one paragraph). I place my cursor in the middle of the paragraph and hit enter. My text below the cursor goes to the overflow. I know I can place the overflow text any place I want, but all I want to do is make 2 paragraphs. I don't want the text to go to overflow. Any help is appreciated.

Don't press the enter key on the Number keypad (it acts as a sort of page break) you need to press the return key on the letters side of your key board to get a normal line break.
