I need some help to create a new component.
When I choose File / New / Component, the new component is stored in bcb????.bpl by default.
I would like to create a new bpl file containing just one component.

Try to use File/New/Package.
After new package (i.e. new *.bpl) has been created, you should add a new component to this package.
So after building this package, you gote a new BPL in which your component has been placed.

Happy programming!))

great,

One more question. When I compile the package, a bpl and a lib directory are created. In my case these directories are located in the projects dir instead of the package dir.
Did I miss a dialog ( being to trigger happy ) or is it a configuration option somewhere ?

thanks,
Hennie.

Greetinx!

Project dir contains any of project you created and you can change this dir as you want. So, try to point the question!
Happy programming!))
