hi

here's my situation: have made a project plan with agreed tasks and duration and set a baseline. the project has been going on for several weeks and actual work reported.

now changes are needed (and approved by the steering): two extra resources are needed in the project because of an extra task (scope was changed). this also leads to a changge in the schedule.

how do a make a new plan with these changes and make a new baseline so that reporrted actual work still remains?

I would copy the existing baseline into Baseline1 and then baseline the revised portion of the plan. I would not attempt to create a new plan - just use the "Save Baseline" command and the "interim plan" to preserve the original baselines and create a new one.
