Hey Folks--I need to know if anyone can tell me how to create a negative image of an image in PS Elements.

Ctrl+I?

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

Who's JT? I need to turn a positive image into a negative and be able to print it that way. I'm going to transfer it to a sandblast stencil, so it can be etched into some glass. I'm kinda new to PS, sorry if this is a remedial question.

Obesan, the "Wow JT" section of Pixl8r's post is his sig, it wasn't part of his reply.

As mentioned above holding down the Ctrl key and pressing 'I' will invert the image for you to give a negative effect. If you want to take all of the colour out of the image first, then change to greyscale before you invert. To do that go to Image > Mode > Greyscale.

Sorry to confuse with the signature :)

Someone said that to me once. I liked it.

You can tell I spend alot of time in forums, can't you. Hope you all got a good laugh on that one. I know I did.
Thanks for the help
