Creating a mapping within application.cfm

is there a way to create a mapping within application.cfm? The client I'm working for has two development projects on one server, with /templates/ on one IP mapped to one drive, and I'm trying to get /templates/ on another IP with /templates/ mapped to another area. Has anyone dealt with a problem like this?
