Creating a hyperlink to Lotus notes document

Hi,

I am basically a web developer and I am creating a web site on which I need to create a hyperlink to a Lotes Notes document. I am quite new to Lotus Notes, so I know very little about it. The users of the web site will not generally have acess to lotus notes account, but I want to provide them acces to just these documents. The reason I want to create a hyperlink from Lotus notes is that whenever the author of these documents changes/edits the documents, the web site user can see the latest version of these documents. So now can anybody help me how to create these hyperlinks ?
I tried using the Document Id but then if the document is changed, it does not pick up the new version.

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
