Did anyone else have problems signing into tek-tips today?
It wouldn't let me login under my original handle, I had to start a new one Any way here is my situation, I have been in the process of creating a database for quite a while now and am almost finished. I need to know if it is possible to create a help button for the users that is bound to the data base. I know about using ms word the only
problem is that you have to have a designated place where the file will be located. I want to know if it is possible
to have an 'internal' help file that is not tied to a directory in the computer but is located in the database itself, is this possible? If so how would I go about it?
I appreciate all of your help in advance! Thanx

Yes, I did this myself.

I simply made a table with the following columns:

HDCategory
HDQuestion
HDAnswer

Then I created a form bound to that table. And had a command button/menu bar item open that form.

The category field is a combo box and the q&a fields are locked text boxes.

Thanx, not a bad idea I will give this a go and see how it works out.
