I have a small image database with thumbnail, full screen and detail views. There are several tables used to create these.
What I am trying to achieve is a form/list view with a grid of the images in the database. Each image has a unique ID. At present I can only show one image per row.

Does anyone know if I can use a portal(s) from one of my other databases to show consecutive images in a grid with a next page previous page function? Or if it can be done in another way? I am using FMP6 (.fp5).

Thanks in advance, bant

I've never tried this but I think you can do it with multiple portals side by side. Not sure what relationships you would use.

Thanks,

I did try this but was having some problems with relationships - defining what would make the right image appear if there was no synchornious next, etc.
I have put it to the back-burner for a while.
The only example i have ever seen of it was a combination of Filemaker and ImageAXS - like a plug-in. Will be checking this out also.

Cheers,
Bant
