I need to created report like

Business_Unit_ID
---------------------------------
Data_Item1 Data_Item2
New 10 20
Referal 20 30
External 5 15
Internal 10 -10

The left most text is static ('New', Referal, and Inernal etc)

If I create a table of (5 rows and 3 columns) in blank layout and put the static text in the first column and place rest of the data item accordignly..will it work.

Regards,
Vinay

Yes that will work - you will have to use Text Item from the Toolbox tab for each text box, the data for each data box is a different story - one way I used was to use a list report for each data item table box then hide the column heading for the list report. If your report is truly a fixed format, all this should work. As for me, later I had to alter the SQL because sometimes more than one value was returned in some of the different list reports in the different table boxes. I hope this helps.

Best of Luck!

Don

Table definition for the table from which records is to be fetched is:

Business_Unit_ID
Data_item1_new
Data_item2_new
Data_item1_Referal
Data_item2_Referal
Data_item1_External
Data_item2_External
Data_item1_Internal
Data_item2_Internal

This all forms a single record in database. Will this work with the kind of setup described earlier or do i need to transpose the records to 4 rows.
