We are trying to determine how to set up a find function in a Data Access Page. The Find command, as it stands in the actual Access application, will not function. I understand the DAP is coded in JavaScript. Is there a way to hook the JavaScript code into the database? Would this be set up as a VB script, or can JS do what I need?

Part of the problem here is knowing what we want to do, but not being entirely, 100% sure of the question we need to ask. I've tried a few things myself, but I can't find a reference to being able to create a Find function/command in Javascript that can "read" from the Access fields.

Any assistance or useful information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Scott
