I have created a Biztalk Channel from an Application (an HL7 adapter). The input specification to the channel is an HL7 message. I want to create a simple text file as the output, containing the patient name, account number, and some other patient information on each line of the text file. My questions are: Does the file have to have a specific extension? How do I format the records and fields of my outbound specififcation? and How can I troubleshoot this process?
